Day 18 Digital Mandalas
I've been playing around with Photoshop this morning creating some digital mandalas from one of my quilts. It's lots of fun!
Days 10, 11, 12, 16 & 17
Here are some more funky girls and some ATCs. The other days have been hats. hats, hats. I've got crocheted hats coming out my ears! I also made some very cool mixed CDs which I definitely consider an art form. It puts me in that zen creative space of mind like any good art project should. You can read about the CDs on my other blog and I will try to post pics of the hats soon.
Days 6, 7 and 8 - more girls
OK, I'm getting kind of bored with the girls now. Or maybe just annoyed. At the beginning I was really trying to draw in a different style - to capture whatever was so compelling and raw about my daughter's drawing - but now it has drifted back to my usual style of drawing - being fussy with details and it just looks too "me" and it's bugging me. Maybe I should take someone's suggestion and try drawing with my left hand.
